Supply Chain Code of Conduct 

The management of The Projects Team Limited (TPTL) are committed to complying with all applicable local & international laws and regulations, to upholding human rights, health & safety standards as well as protecting the environment in our own business activities as well as in relation to all our business partners. 

We expect all our employees, 3rd party service contractors & suppliers to share our commitment. As such this Supplier Code of Conduct defines the basic requirements to meet our standards.

Health and safety

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations on occupational health and working safety.

Shall be committed to deliver continuous improvements to occupational health and safety.

Maintain a reasonable and practicable health and safety management system.

Human rights and labour standards

Maintain a working time policy that complies with all applicable local laws and labour regulations concerning working time, including overtime laws.

Provide wages and benefits as prescribed by the respective local laws, including minimum wage legislation, and in line with existing practice in the industry and local labour markets.

Non-discrimination and fairness

Apply and maintain the principles of equal opportunity and fair treatment. Non-tolerance of any form of discrimination be it verbal, written or physical harassment of employees or 3rd part contractors. 

Freedom of association and collective bargaining: Recognise, as far as legally permitted, the right of free association and collective bargaining of employees & 3rd Party Contractors. (Reformat text).

There shall be no tolerance of forced labour of any kind of including forced prison labour, indentured labour, bonded labour, slave labour or any form of human trafficking.

There shall be no tolerance of child labour, and full compliance with minimum working age requirements prescribed by local laws and international agreements will be required.

Legal compliance and integrity

There shall be full compliance with all applicable local and international laws and regulations especially the following:

  1. Prohibition of corruption and bribery e.g. don’t engage in or tolerate any form of corruption or bribery, in particular any payment, “kickback” or any other form of benefit conferred for the purpose of influencing decision making.

  2. Competition and antitrust e.g. always conduct business in compliance with all applicable competition/antitrust laws and regulations.

  3. Conflict of interest e.g. avoid all conflicts of interest or situations giving the appearance of a potential conflict of interest in business.

 

Dealings with TPTL or 3rd parties

Always maintain confidentiality and keep TPTL’s business, financial and technical data as well as business correspondence confidential; don’t misappropriate TPTL’s or any other companies’ tangible or intellectual property.

Environmental protection

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations and international codes and standards relating to the protection and preservation of the environment.

Commit to continuous improvements of environmental protection in everything we do.

Use or set up a reasonable environmental management system.

Supply chain

Undertake reasonable efforts to encourage our suppliers and sub-contractors to comply with the principles of this Supplier Code of Conduct.

This policy will be reviewed annually and communicated to all persons working for, or on behalf of The Projects Team Limited, and maintained on our website for public access.
